  • Most cabins are easy to reach

The Plahtes Eiendommer Estate, with its 160.000 acres, is one of the largest privately owned land areas in the country.  This north-western corner of Europe is one of its least polluted areas. Healthy populations of game and fish, clean water and fresh air, a rugged, splendid nature and lots of space, combine to create very special experiences.

A comfortable lodge is situated by each river and in each hunting area, and the degree of service can be specified to suit your individual requirements.

At the Plahte estate, you can walk in the mountains in the morning and sail in a traditional  faroese boat in the afternoon. The nature around you will provide you with fresh fish, berries, mussels and fungus. You can drink from almost any creek, and you can make a fire in the wild, where you prepare your own food. During summertime it never gets dark. If you are inexperienced, we are happy to provide a local guide.

Our web pages include hundreds of pictures, video and detailed information about the different areas of our property.
